About This Product

■FeaturesExisting 40 and 100 Gigabit (Gb/s) multimode fiber applications, and newer 200 and 400Gb/s multimode and single-mode applications, are supported by 4-fiber transmission and 4-fiber transmission at 10Gb/s or 25 Gb/s. Communication is carried out using a total of 8 optical fibers.

The Base-8 plug-and-play fiber system, part of the Lighthouse™ Advanced Fiber Cable Solution, enables the simplest and seamless transition from Duplex 10Gb/s to 400Gb to existing and future 8-fiber applications. . 

Siemon's Base-8 system includes enclosures, modules, adapters, trunk assemblies and jumpers. For 40/100 Gb/s and above applications, it provides a complete end-to-end 8-fiber system with 100% fiber utilization without conversion cords or modules.
