Heat-resistant cement concrete "Firelock"
CTC Japan Co., Ltd.

About This Product

■A revolutionary new cement

By adding a small amount of liquid additive to fire rock cement containing fly ash with a specific mineral composition, it has become possible to produce concrete with better heat resistance than ordinary Portland cement.

■High thermal conductivity and large heat capacity

Because a very dense hardened cement body consisting of crystalline calcium aluminosilicate hydrate is produced, the thermal conductivity is 3 to 5 times higher and the specific heat is 1.5 to 2 times higher than that of ordinary Portland cement. Masu. As a result, it is difficult to heat up, and the heat diffuses rapidly, suppressing local temperature rises and keeping stress caused by heat extremely low.

■Ideal for environments where high temperatures are repeatedly applied

It can be used in high-temperature environments up to 1,000℃ for temporary use and 300℃ for sustained use.

■Very low water-cement ratio

Since the water-cement ratio is approximately 0.18 to 0.25, which is about half that of conventional concrete, it can suppress explosions caused by water vapor at high temperatures.

■Can be manufactured using conventional ready-mixed concrete manufacturing equipment

By simply using firelock cement instead of conventional cement and liquid additives instead of conventional admixtures, you can use conventional ready-mixed concrete plants and mobile plant equipment as is.

■Excellent workability

The setting time can be set within a wide range by adjusting the amount of additives, and the workability of pouring, finishing, and curing is equivalent to that of conventional ready-mixed concrete. Pump pressure feeding is also possible.

■Application results in the United States

・U.S. Air Force vertical take-off and landing aircraft landing sites (4 bases) ・US Navy Jet Engine Test Range ・U.S. Marine Corps Jet Engine Test Range, etc. ・Royal Air Force vertical take-off and landing area (in the UK) ・Private companies Oven foundations in bakery factories, large furnace foundations for powder coating, molten high-temperature material processing pits, etc.
