■Features

■Linear motor

Linear motors are electromagnetic direct drives. Eliminates mechanical components in the drivetrain and transfers drive power directly to the motion platform without friction. The drive reaches high speed and acceleration. Ironless motors are particularly suited for positioning tasks where precision is most demanding, as there is no unwanted interaction with permanent magnets. This enables smooth running even at low speeds, and at the same time eliminates vibrations even at high speeds. Nonlinearity of control behavior is avoided and any position can be easily controlled. The driving force can be set freely.

■High-precision position measurement using incremental linear encoder

- Non-contact optical encoder directly measures platform position with highest accuracy. ・Nonlinearity, mechanical play, and elastic deformation do not affect the measurement. ・Other moving ranges are available upon request.

■Circulating ball bearing

When carefully assembled, recirculating ball bearings are distinguished by a beneficial combination of high load capacity, service life, maintenance-free operation and guiding precision. The moving parts of the stage are supported by four preloaded linear ball bearing units running on two guide rails. -Each bearing unit consists of two independent rows of ball bearings that circulate.
