■Summary

SOFTNER#1000 is a raw material resin developed for fabric softeners. This resin dispersion is applied to polyester fibers to give them a supple and soft texture. Its performance is characterized by washing resistance.

■Features

SOFTNER#1000 is a polyester polymer, and its aqueous dispersion can be used for polyester fibers, polyester fibers/cotton blends or cotton fabrics, polyester fibers/rayon blends, polyester fibers/wool blends, and dyed yarns of these fibers. To impart a soft texture to sewn products. This dispersion liquid has nano-sized particles dispersed in water. This can be easily understood because when a drop of the dispersion is added to water, the water emits fluorescence. The particles are SOFTNER#1000 particles suspended in the water. PET polymer is a polyester part, and its surface has a smoothing agent that contributes to flexibility and smoothness, and hydrophilic groups that have an affinity for water.

■Applications

Polyester filament, softening processing of processed yarn fabrics, softening processing of high-ratio polyester/wool blends, softening processing of polyester/cotton blends, flexible resin processing, processing to prevent yarn breakage of polyester knitted fabrics (tricot etc.), flame retardant Fabric softening agent, for processing in combination with silicone softening agents, etc.
