About This Product

This is a system that measures the position and intensity of the spectrometer's beam and controls the angle of the first crystal of the two-crystal spectrometer through feedback so that they remain constant. Consisting of a feedback controller and its control software, it is a simple single-axis control feedback system. This effectively stabilizes the spectrometer's output beam position and intensity. Flex MOSTAB (Monochromator Stabilization) replaces the conventional DSP-type MOSTAB with NI Single-Board RIO, a general-purpose board manufactured by NI equipped with an FPGA and CPU that can be controlled by NI LabVIEW, and peripherals to the conventional DSP-type MOSTAB. This system is housed in a 19-inch rack mount chassis with added circuitry. By replacing DSP with FPGA, it is equipped with new functions never seen before.

A system that measures the position and intensity of the spectrometer's beam and feedback controls the angle of the first crystal of the double-crystal spectrometer to keep them constant.

■Introduction results

It is used in experimental hutches at synchrotron radiation facilities such as Spring-8 and PF (Photon Factory).
