■ W "radical control" technology to increase weather resistance with effect (patent application)

Nippon Paint brings together technical skills and developed paints with innovative technology. That is the "Perfect Top" with "radical control" technology. In general coating, radical molecules are generated and diffused from the titanium oxide, which is the main component of the pigment, when ultraviolet rays are exposed. Radicals have the property of attacking and decomposing organic matter, which destroyed the bond between resins, causing a major cause of resin deterioration. Therefore, we focused on titanium oxide, which caused radicals, and made improvements. As a result of improvements, it has the property of suppressing the generation of radicals, and succeeded in developing high weather -resistant titanium oxide, which contains the generated radicals in the barrier. In addition, the use of optical stabilizers with a function to catch radicals has succeeded in realizing a "radical control" technology that increases weather resistance with double effect. With the adoption of this "radical control" technology, the "Perfect Top" was born as a very excellent paint with excellent weather resistance beyond silicon grade.

・ As a measure to deteriorate the coating due to ultraviolet rays, the company's unique “radical control” technology has a very excellent weather resistance beyond silicon grade (patent application). ・ Weather resistance is equivalent to one kind of weather resistance type JIS A 6,909. ・ After 2,500 hours of promoting weather resistance test, paint, which has a glossy holding rate of 80%, is a high weather resistant paint with one kind of weather resistance.

・ Since the polymer fills the gap between the coating films, it is possible to form a dense and smooth coating, achieving excellent luster. ・ Beautiful appearance can be obtained by combining with the perfect series undercoat. ・ It is also possible to adjust the gloss, such as a moist, calm 3 minutes and shiny erasing according to the needs.
