■Description

The polypropylene used in the material has a specific gravity of 0.91, making it the lightest of all fibers and also an extremely strong fiber. Because it is extremely processable and has a highly transparent and colored appearance, it is used in many everyday products, from automobile parts to home appliance parts, medical equipment, daily necessities, and food. In addition, it has almost no hygroscopicity or water absorption, and has low thermal conductivity, so it has excellent moisture retention and chemical resistance.

Water purifiers, tea strainer filters, etc. Mainly water filters, etc.

■Features

・Heat effect: Softening point: 140-160℃ Melting point: 165-173℃ ・Specific gravity: 0.90-0.92 ・Chemical resistance: Almost no change in strength with concentrated hydrochloric acid, concentrated sulfuric acid, strained nitric acid, concentrated caustic soda solution, and concentrated ammonia solution. ・Weather resistance: Deteriorates due to light irradiation (sunlight/ultraviolet light) (However, PP10 and PP16 are weather resistant) ・Insect and mold effects: Completely resistant
