■Description

Polyethylene, which is used as a material, is inexpensive and suitable for mass-produced products. Due to its excellent strength, chemical resistance, and hygienic properties, it can be used even in environments where it comes into contact with the human body and in applications related to food. Also, since it is a light fiber next to polypropylene, it has low heat resistance and has no water or moisture absorption properties. However, it is resistant to low-temperature environments, so it does not deform at temperatures down to -20℃.

■Applications

Powder sieves, drug filtration filters, filters for food production processes, activated carbon cartridge filters for medical equipment, etc.

■Features

・Heat effect: Softening point: 100-115℃ Melting point: 125-135℃ ・Specific gravity: 0.94-0.96 ・Chemical resistance: There is almost no change in strength with concentrated hydrochloric acid, concentrated sulfuric acid, and concentrated caustic soda solutions. ・Weather resistance: Deteriorates due to light irradiation (sunlight/ultraviolet light) ・Insect and mold effects: Completely resistant
