About This Product

■Unmodified standard silica layer of aluminum sheet TLC

Silica 60, average pore diameter 60Å, specific pore volume 0.75mL/g, particle size 5~17μm. Detection reagent: Manganese-activated zinc silicate that fluoresces green under shortwave UV (254nm). A special inorganic fluorescent pigment that emits blue fluorescence for long-wave UV (366nm). Support: A polymeric product that is stable in almost all organic solvents and resistant to strong visualization reagents. ALUGRAM® Xtra supports are completely stable even in purely aqueous eluents.

■ Operating modes of SILGUR plates with enrichment zone

The chromatogram shows a SILGUR plate with an enrichment zone. After applying the sample to the diatomaceous earth layer, the spots migrate to the diatomaceous earth/silica interface and form a narrow band. Separation is then performed on a silica layer.
