About This Product

■TLC and HPTLC ready layer

・A wide range of plate sizes, carriers, and supports ・Pre-coated plate ready for immediate use ・Homogeneous, smooth and highly adhesive layer ・Available with UV indicator or without impregnation - Consistent high quality from lot to lot and plate to plate

■Advantages of TLC

TLC does not require complex or costly maintained instrumentation. The investment for successful TLC is 100 times lower than for HPLC. The separated compounds remain on the plate and can be used for further experiments. Method development is simplified by TLC. The amount of solvent required for development is much lower than for HPLC.

■Standard analysis TLC plates and sheets

Thin layer chromatography can be used for both qualitative and quantitative analysis. Standard analytical TLC plates typically have an adsorbent layer with a nominal thickness of 0.20-0.25 mm.

■Preparative TLC plate

Preparative TLC is used to purify and separate analytes from impurities. Preparative TLC layers (≥0.5mm) are only available on glass plates.

■TLC/HPTLC support

TLC Plates – Glass Supports Glass plates are robust, heat resistant, and chemically resistant to all common mobile phases and visualization reagents.

■POLYGRAM® TLC sheet – polyester support

Polyester sheets are easy to handle, lightweight and flexible. You can cut it with scissors. The developed POLYGRAM® sheet can also be saved for documentation in a lab notebook.

■ALUGRAM® TLC sheet – aluminum support

Aluminum sheet is easy to handle, lightweight and flexible. The high-performance silica on ALUGRAM® Xtra sheets provides excellent wettability for accurate color results even when using 100% aqueous detection reagents. Additionally, ALUGRAM® Xtra sheets can be easily cut with scissors. At this time, silica does not peel off.
