About This Product

■Summary

The Qualivax™ system is a system for detecting food-poisoning bacteria, spoilage bacteria, and other bacteria at the molecular level in food raw materials, processed food products, or their manufacturing environments. For more than 20 years, we have been chosen by food manufacturers, designated testing organizations, and government testing organizations around the world to protect food safety and quickly supply inspected products. The Qualivax™ System is a PCR-based screening system for pathogenic bacteria in food. PCR (polymerase chain reaction) is a technology that quickly amplifies characteristic genes. Since each pathogenic bacterium has its own characteristic genes, the Qualivax™ system amplifies these genes and automatically detects them. Normally, PCR reaction conditions must be critical to obtain good, high-precision results. In addition, the operation becomes complicated as it involves dispensing a large number of reagents. The Qualivax™ system reagent kit selects the PCR reagents necessary for the reaction, prepares them at appropriate concentrations, and forms them into tablets. The primers used for amplification have also been developed using a unique method, and have been repeatedly verified with many food and bacterial species before being commercialized. With these features, this system is ideal and can be used reliably at inspection sites where bacterial testing is performed on a daily basis.
