About This Product

■Summary

The concentrator pipette device CP SELECT is a new generation pipette liquid sample concentration system that brings new levels of efficiency and customization to the user. This system replaces older methods such as centrifugation and filtration as pretreatment for microbial detection. It is highly efficient and effective against bacteria, parasites, molds, fungal spores and fragments, whole cells and viruses.

■Main benefits

- Concentrating pipettes allow you to process larger volumes (up to 3 liters) than would be possible with other methods, improving concentration factors and detection limits. - Concentration pipettes are easy to operate. Intuitive controls require one button press to start the enrichment process and one button press to elute the final sample. - Has fast ability to filter up to 200 mL per minute. ・Since the sample is in contact only with the disposable tip, there is no need to worry about cross-contamination between samples. Efficiency example: A 200 μL sample concentrated from 1 L with a recovery efficiency of 80% gives a concentration factor of 4000 times. (1,000mL / 0.200mL x 0.8 = 4,000X)
