About This Product

■Easy and safe realization of sterile freeze-drying, an issue with semi-stoppered vials

Conventional vial freeze-drying involves the risk of contamination by scattering, airborne particles, and bacteria. Due to the high investment costs and construction requirements of CIP/SIP, isolators and automated systems may not be an option for low volume production.

■Clear the challenge by enclosing the bag

Lyoprotect® bags are a shield against contamination. Particles and airborne bacteria are kept outside the bag, and flying objects are kept inside the bag. During the drying process, water vapor passes smoothly out of the bag through the hydrophobic membrane. The bag is closed with a heat seal strip or closing stick and can then be safely moved manually. Can be used with single-use tray or stainless steel tray

■Loading the vial

Transport the vials in Lyoprotect® bags to the freeze dryer. Arrange the filled vials on any vial tray. You can customize the bag size to fit your tray. Remove the bottoming tray after placing the vial with the tray in the bag. Insert another sheet under the bag and load it into the freeze dryer. Can be used with single-use tray or stainless steel tray
