About This Product

■Energy saving, cost saving, long life

ECO/COOL is an energy-saving, cost-saving, and long-life design. Cuts power consumption and CO2 emissions by approximately 40% (*1). Rated life is 40,000 hours (*2), long-life design of approximately 10 years (*3). The hassle of lamp replacement maintenance is also reduced by 70% (*4). Initial costs and running costs are low, and when compared to general fluorescent lamps as well as LEDs, they offer performance and cost performance that is equal to or better than that of LEDs. *1: This is a comparison between a 40W type general fluorescent tube and a light fixture (ballast included) installed and lit. *2: Product life is the design value (predicted value at which the downward luminous flux maintenance rate is 70%). The lifespan of ECO/COOL will vary depending on the usage environment. *3: Assumed to be used for approximately 10 to 12 hours a day. *4: Comparison with 40W general fluorescent tube (12,000 hour lifespan type).

■High performance as lighting

Unlike LED, which emits point light, ECO COOL is a line light source using CCFL that emits light in all 360° directions, so it can illuminate a wide area with even and uniform light. Another great feature is that high-frequency lighting eliminates the "flickering" that is seen with LEDs and general fluorescent lights. Furthermore, ECO COOL uses the same 3-wavelength RGB type of red, blue, and green as high-end fluorescent lights to produce a beautiful white color. It has a high color rendering property of approximately 80 Ra and illuminates with natural light. Spacious, bright, and easy on the eyes, ECO/COOL is ideal for a variety of work spaces and living spaces where people gather, such as offices, schools, hospitals, and stores.

■What is CCFL?

Next generation lighting using thin glass tubes. They are thinner than regular fluorescent lamps, and various color temperatures can be created by changing the type and pressure of the substance sealed inside the glass tube, as well as the thickness and type of phosphor coated on the inner wall of the glass tube. The discharge method is different from general fluorescent lamps, and CCFL does not have a filament in its electrodes, so its lifespan is not affected greatly by turning it on or off.

ECO/COOL has a wide lineup of straight tube types 20W, 40W, and 110W, as well as types with power-saving modes and high color rendering types. Please choose according to your needs.
