About This Product

■Three features of AGUA MG100 (Agua Marine Guard)

AGUA MG100 (Agua Marine Guard) is a rust conversion one-component epoxy primer coating treatment agent. It has a high rust conversion ability, and by reducing red rust to black rust (magnetite) and stabilizing it, it strongly prevents the formation of bad rust under the paint film. It also boasts quick drying properties. It dries quickly, so you can apply another coat after 1 hour (at 20℃). It is an easy-to-handle, one-component treatment agent, and has excellent workability, as substrate preparation can be done with three types of strainer.It exhibits stable high performance not only for general use, but also under severe conditions such as on ships and offshore buildings. ・High rust prevention ability ・Dries quickly ・Excellent workability AGUA MG100 (Agua Marine Guard) has less bad rust under the paint film and more good quality rust that adheres to the base steel. On the other hand, with general rust preventives, new rust forms under the paint film, and more serious rust occurs in the laminated layers.

■Compliant with safety regulations set by FDA (Food and Drug Administration of the United States)

Even on ships, unlike on the deck or inside tanks, food can come into direct contact inside the holds, so even higher levels of safety are required. AGUA MG100 (Agua Marine Guard) has obtained a certificate of conformity from a specialized organization stating that it complies with the safety standards (175.300, Food Type VIII, for use as paint for the holds of ships and other ships that come into direct contact with food) set by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration of the United States). It can also be safely used to hold bulk ships loaded with food products such as grain, maize, and salt.

■Applications

Ships (deck, piping, cargo holds, ballast tanks, topside tanks, etc.), port cargo handling facilities, offshore structures, FPSO (floating offshore oil and gas production, storage and offloading equipment), oil storage tanks, forklifts and various vehicles, general buildings, etc., general steel parts.
