About This Product

■The future standard for semiconductor containers Paragon

Our own brand "Paragon" for semiconductors and LCDs. Semiconductor wafer carriers made from high-purity materials reduce wafer contamination from outgassing and contained metals. Furthermore, it has excellent wear resistance and dimensional stability, and can be used for a long time because it suppresses particle generation and wafer chipping. Paragon is a general term for containers used for semiconductors and liquid crystals. “Paragon” is generally translated as “standard, masterpiece, gem.” Fuji Bakelite also aims to develop products that will become the norm in the semiconductor industry.

■Introduction of new grade

We have developed a new grade material FB-0437. As a result, the previously two grades of materials, FB-0431 (standard material) and FB-0432 (heat-resistant material), will be unified into one grade, FB-0437. From April 2022 onwards, products will be shipped using FB-0437 material.

■Features

・Paragon carrier FB20A106 is a 13-slot carrier designed as a carrier for thin wafers (backgrinded wafers) in the back-end process, using e-mateX®FB-0430 series material, which has a proven track record as a front-end process carrier. ・Unlike conventional carriers, which have 13 grooves by cutting, we provide stable product quality using molds. ・The length of the comb teeth has been extended to 20.15 mm to further prevent deflection of thin wafers.
