About This Product

■Product overviewIt is a filling material for ESS that has a hemostasis effect without pressure and an adhesion prevention effect by promoting epithelialization. Made from 100% plant-based materials, this packing material is safe and comfortable for patients.

Insert the compressed product into your nasal cavity and add water (such as physiological saline) to instantly swell it inside your nose. The feature is that it is highly visible even while it is in place. By adding water every day after surgery, you will be able to remove it from inside your nose. Due to the action of mucous membranes and daily nasal washing, it will dissolve in 7 to 10 days.

Another attractive feature is that it requires no special temperature control and is easy to handle. Because it is derived from starch, it can also be used by patients with shellfish allergies. (latex free)

*Hemostasis effect due to starch-derived components: Because it preferentially absorbs water and low-molecular weight substances without absorbing macromolecules such as plasma proteins or blood cell components, it concentrates blood coagulation factors and has the effect of promoting hemostasis.
*The number of days will vary depending on the patient's condition.

■Features・No need to remove as it is melted and discharged
・Can be cut to any size
・Thin so it doesn't obstruct your field of vision (2 to 4 mm thick)

■How to use・If necessary, cut the dry Neck Pack X to an appropriate size. Approximately: 1 to 2 XL size (both noses)
・Insert Nex Pack X into your nasal cavity. *Please stop the bleeding as much as possible before insertion.
・Paste the inserted Neck Pack X in the desired position. *Do not add water before pasting.
- Paste while adjusting the position. *Adjusting the position after swelling is difficult, so adjust the position before adding water.
・In the same way, paste as many as you need.
・Check if the position and amount are correct.
-Add water with physiological saline. Approximate amount of water: 2mL per 1cm X size: Approximately 5cm in length XL size: Approximately 7cm in length
・Confirm that the entire area is swollen and you are done.

■Precautions when pastingIt is difficult to adjust the position after swelling, so please adjust the position before inflating. If you try to force it to move, it may break.

■Management after detentionIf you wash your nose 2-3 times a day, it will dissolve in about 7-10 days.
