■High-speed SPM controller made by Anfatec InstrumentsAnfatec Instruments has developed a state-of-the-art high-speed SPM controller, integrating state-of-the-art D/A and A/D conversion technology into a unique multi-DSP system.

A digital real-time feedback loop provides impressive performance with <1 μs latency in both contact and dynamic modes, and a synchronous digital scan generator with programmable output ensures jitter-free images. Advanced data acquisition capabilities also eliminate image nonlinearity issues caused by user equipment.

■High-speed input ADC>500 MHz sampling rate, 16-bit resolution with 20 MHz bandwidth, single channel input - capable of DC and amplitude detection

■Digital feedback typePI control with automatic adjustment of feedback parameters 32-bit internal signal width, 40 MHz internal feedback loop

■Multi-purposeAny signal can be used as an input signal. DAC output and input signals can be inverted independently.

■Feedback modeThe software offers seven different feedback types, from linear STM feedback to PLL feedback with AFM contact and dynamic modes.
