About This Product

■Pulse counting preamplifier “TIW-500M20”

Wideband preamplifier ideal for single atom/molecule/ion and single photon counting electronics. It is installed near the particle detector in your equipment to amplify the pulse signal to a level sensitive to the counting electronics.

■Specifications

- Bandwidth: Approximately 100 kHz to 500 MHz (DC amplification is not possible). ・Voltage amplification degree: Fixed, approximately 10 times (50 Ω load). (Please consult us for other matters). ・Output polarity: Please specify inverted/non-inverted. ・Power supply: Unipolar DC +12 V is standard, but please consult with us. - Input/output connector: 50 Ω-BNC is standard, but SMA etc. can also be specified. ・Dimensions/weight: 45 x 35 x 25 mm3 (case part excluding connectors), 50 g (including 50Ω-BNC connector).

■Features

・Small, lightweight, and low cost. - Operates simply by connecting an external unipolar DC constant voltage power supply. ・Although it is single-function, the characteristics are optimized for the output pulse of common single particle multipliers and the input specifications of a wide range of counting electronics. Although it is single-function, its characteristics are optimized to match the output pulses of single particle multipliers such as photomultipliers (PMs), channeltrons (CEMs), and microchannel plates (MCPs), as well as the input specifications of common counting electronics.
