About This Product

■Aka-Piatto 600

Optimised for fine grinding of samples with a hardness of 150HV–2,000HV.When fine grinding with an Aka-Piatto 600/30µm and/or an Aka-Piatto 1,200/15µm they remove the deformations after the plane grinding step. When fine grinding brittle samples like ceramics,cermets or sintered carbides Aka-Piatto+ is recommended due to a lower specific pressure.After fine grinding with Aka-Piatto 600/30µm and Aka-Piatto 1,200/15µm the samples are ready for a 3µm polishing step.
