About This Product

■Aka-Piatto 220

Excellent for plane grinding of samples with a hardness of 150HV–1,000HV.Aka-Piatto 220/75µm is used for plane grinding of individual samples,where you need to remove a lot of material.For plane grinding of brittle samples,like ceramics,cermets and sintered carbides,Aka-Piatto+ is recommended. Aka-Piatto and Aka-Piatto+ diamond grinding discs are ready to use.They have to be dressed with a dressing stick once in a while depending on the material being prepared.This is done to ensure continuously high material removal.
