About This Product

■Aka-Piatto 80

Optimal for plane grinding of samples with a hardness of 150HV–1,000HV.Aka-Piatto 80/250µm (and Aka-Piatto 120/125µm) are used for plane grinding of samples in sample holders where a large amount of material needs to be removed. Please note that Aka-Piatto+ is recommended for plane grinding of brittle samples,like ceramics,cermets and sintered carbides.Aka-Piatto and Aka-Piatto+diamond grinding discs have been dressed and are ready to use.Depending on the material,they have to be opened with a dressing stick once in a while to ensure continuously high material removal.
