■Summary

Workpieces fixed on an ultrasonic vibration table can be vibrated to reduce machining resistance and smoothly eject chips. Furthermore, by equipping the machine with a special tank, liquid can be stored in the tank, which is expected to have a cooling effect and prevent chips from adhering to the tool due to cavitation. Therefore, it is possible to achieve high quality small diameter hole drilling, small diameter groove processing, shape processing, and cutting processing of hard brittle materials and difficult-to-process materials, which were difficult with conventional processing technology. It also shows a 30% increase in machining efficiency and tool life.
