About This Product

■Summary

The brake opening/closing control unit is a device that controls opening/closing of mechanical brakes for fixing motor shafts, which are used in steel, paper/pulp lines, conveyor equipment, etc.

■Maintenance free for 10 years

Since it does not use contacts with a limited life like conventional contactor methods, it can be used maintenance-free (*1) for 10 years. *1: Design life is a calculated value and is not a guaranteed value.

■You can check the driving status with LED

The two-color LED allows you to instantly check the driving status. (Green: Status display / Red: Failure display)

■Forced brake release function

During load-side maintenance, the brake unit can now be opened and closed using a dip switch.

■Separate resistor for open-hold voltage adjustment is not required.

No space required for resistor installation. It also contributes to energy saving. (For our BM brake)

■Features

・External signal input/output interface and main power switch function integrated into unit ・Achieved a longer lifespan of the brake power on/off switch ・Enhanced failure detection function ・Prepare tools that can read/write various parameters, collect waveforms, and manage them (optional)
