■FK control (secondary resistance control)When using an AC wound motor as a drive device for horizontal movement of a crane, the speed of the motor can be changed by changing the external resistor connected to the secondary side of the motor. We call this the FK control method. This method is the most basic (principle) of speed control for AC wound motors, is inexpensive and easy to handle, and is most widely used for positive load applications such as lateral travel.

■Features 1. Speed ​​can be easily controlled by changing the secondary resistance.
2. The AC200V class can control up to ~110kW motors, and the AC400V class can control up to ~350kW motors.
3. Maintenance is easy due to the simple circuit configuration.
