About This Product

Features

■A wide range of products compatible with various control methods

The specifications of electrical equipment for cranes are determined by the structure, purpose, voltage, control method, etc. of the crane. Also, the ratings of motors, resistors, etc. will change depending on the frequency of use of the crane and the installation environment. We have prepared a variety of control methods and control equipment, and summarized them so that you can select the one that is suitable for your use.

■High reliability based on many years of experience

This is a highly reliable control device with over 40 years of experience. (Note) The control panel is sold as a system.

■MB control (hydraulic pusher brake control)

When using an AC wound motor as a hoisting drive for a crane, an inexpensive way to obtain low speed during hoisting is to control the speed using a hydraulic lifter brake. We call this the MB control method. This method is widely used in small-capacity cranes because intermediate speeds can be easily obtained when lowering the crane by 20 to 50%.

■Features

1. When lowering, an intermediate speed of 20 to 50% can be obtained using a simple method. The minimum hoisting speed at 100% load is 20 to 30%, and the speed fluctuation rate is 15 to 20%. 2. There is braking force even when the vehicle is stationary, making it safer. 3. The easiest and cheapest way to obtain low speed when lowering. 4. In particular, direct operation requires less equipment, making maintenance easier.

■Circuit configuration

There are three types of MB control: direct operation, semi-indirect operation, and indirect operation, which are used depending on the motor capacity and purpose. During indirect operation, the acceleration electromagnetic contactors on the motor secondary side are sequentially turned on. Even if the controller is suddenly moved from the OFF notch to the 4th notch, the acceleration magnetic contactors will turn ON one after another. However, in order to avoid overspeed during operation other than the MB control notch during lowering, the final stage magnetic contactor is turned on at once.
