Features

■A wide range of products compatible with various control methods

The specifications of electrical equipment for cranes are determined by the structure, purpose, voltage, control method, etc. of the crane. Also, the ratings of motors, resistors, etc. will change depending on the frequency of use of the crane and the installation environment. We have prepared a variety of control methods and control equipment, and summarized them so that you can select the one that is suitable for your use.

■High reliability based on many years of experience

This is a highly reliable control device with over 40 years of experience. (Note) The control panel is sold as a system.

■AS/ECB control (eddy current brake control)

When using an AC wound motor as a crane hoisting drive, there is a method that uses an eddy current brake for lowering control. This method automatically adjusts the excitation current of the eddy current brake depending on the size of the load, regardless of the controller notch. We call this AS control, and it allows the machine to operate at a set constant speed, regardless of the size of the load. In addition to hoisting cranes, this AS control is also widely used for fixed position stop control such as sideways travel. Features

■An intermediate speed of 15 to 50% can be obtained, and it can be operated at an almost constant speed regardless of the size of the load.

■Other features

- Braking torque is generated by the electromagnetic force of the AS brake, so there is no mechanical wear and tear, making maintenance easy. -The automatic control circuit is composed of semiconductor elements such as ICs, transistors, and thyristors, making it highly reliable and easy to maintain. ・ECB-4B (large capacity type) can be updated to accommodate motor capacities of 2.2kW to 200kW, including those from other domestic manufacturers. ・It has a long lifespan, with a product replacement interval of 20 to 30 years (recommended by our company). -Easy to handle.

■Circuit configuration

All AS automatic control methods are indirect operations. The acceleration magnetic contactor on the secondary side of the motor is turned ON sequentially by the controller's notch and timer. Additionally, when returning to the OFF notch, the eddy current brake is fully excited for approximately 2 seconds, reducing the burden on the stopping brake. However, during high-speed operation with non-AS control notch during lowering, the final stage magnetic contactor is turned on when the speed approaches the rated speed.
