■BL control (primary voltage control)The motor speed is automatically controlled by utilizing the fact that the saturable reactor can steplessly control the current of the AC wound motor to adjust the torque, and we call this the BL control method.

BL control can control the magnitude of the motor's driving torque or braking torque, so it can obtain efficient and highly accurate control characteristics, and is widely used as a method comparable to the Ward Leonard method for DC. It also demonstrates its excellence as a control method for high-pressure motors for large cranes.

■Other features- Advanced control such as synchronization and linked operation of two or more motors is possible.
・By using a reactor and replacing the reversible contactor on the motor primary side, the main circuit can be made contactless.
- You can steplessly accelerate from 0% speed and steplessly decelerate from high speed to 0% speed.
・The reactor acts as an electrical cushion for the motor, reducing electrical and mechanical shock.
・The reactor is a stationary device that is stable and does not require maintenance.

■Circuit configurationBL control is a method in which a saturable reactor is inserted on the primary side of a wound motor, and the voltage applied to the motor is changed by increasing or decreasing its DC excitation current, thereby controlling the motor torque.

In order to operate at a constant speed even when the load torque fluctuates, a finger speed generator is installed that generates a voltage proportional to the motor rotation speed, and the speed is detected and compared with a reference voltage that provides the command speed. The difference between the detected speed values ​​is amplified by the control amplifier, the reactor is excited, and automatic control is performed to bring the speed closer to the commanded speed and eliminate the speed difference.
