About This Product

Product Description
■Disc brake series for cranes- A stopping brake that operates from an AC power source (with a dedicated control box) or a DC power source (with a special resistor) with special specifications.
- As an inverter drive motor, it can be used for crane hoisting/lowering *1 and traversing/traveling *2. (*1: Using 2 units: The end of the brake frame number is WA *2: Using 1 unit: The end of the brake frame number is SA)

*Brake frame number: JB-160WA to JB-355WA, rated braking torque: 202 to 5,500N・m
*Brake frame number: JB-160SA to JB-355SA, rated braking torque: 101 to 2,750N・m

Features
■PointsIt can be used for emergency braking in the event of a power failure during double speed control during inverter operation.

■Braking torque adjustment functionThe braking torque adjustment bolt provided on the outside of the brake allows for easy torque adjustment on site.

■Long life and low noiseThe structure is simple and the stroke of the electromagnet can be set small, so it has a small shock, long life, and low impact noise during suction and braking.

■Non-asbestos liningA non-asbestos lining that does not contain asbestos is standard equipment.

■Easy installation and removalTo attach or remove the brake from the foundation, simply move the brake in a direction perpendicular to the motor shaft direction, and no disassembly is required.

■Equipped with brake body in control boxBy making the control box smaller and sealed, it can be mounted on the brake body, eliminating the need for wiring between the conventional separate control box and the brake. (Separate control box is also available as an option)

Maintenance free
■No need for refuelingOil-free bearings (dry metal) are built into each connecting pin, so lubrication is not required.

■Stroke automatic adjustment device (optional)In order to meet a variety of needs, an automatic stroke adjustment device is available as an option. If equipped with an automatic stroke adjustment device, there is no need to adjust the stroke until the lining reaches its wear limit. (Note: For JB-355, when equipped with an automatic stroke adjustment device, the control box will be placed separately.)
