About This Product

■Summary

Strong security is essential to protect systems from threats such as unauthorized access to internal information, leakage of confidential information due to ``spoofing,'' and falsification of data. The USB token "ePass" is a device that combines a PIN number (personal identification information) and a USB token (digital key). It supports enhanced system authentication with the same security level as a bank's IC cash card.

■What is a USB token?

"Token" is an English word that means "evidence" or "sign." In other words, it's a digital "key." Although it looks similar to a USB memory, it is equipped with an IC chip inside and can perform advanced processing such as encrypting and decrypting stored key data. The function is the same as a bank cash card, and if the user incorrectly enters the PIN (Personal Identification Number) more than a set number of times, it will be considered unauthorized access and all further operations will be completely locked, providing strict security.
