About This Product

■ApplicationsImmersion cooling is a technology that directly submerges computer equipment in a liquid immersion tank to remove heat generation. This method is completely different from the air cooling method commonly used in conventional data centers, and this system uses a special refrigerant. [Joint development by Taisei Corporation / RSI Co., Ltd./Shinohara Electric Co., Ltd.]

■Features・Immerse the server to cool it down.
- The conventional rack arrangement that takes airflow into consideration is no longer necessary, increasing data center space efficiency.
・Due to energy-saving effects, power consumption is significantly reduced.
・Mechanical cooling, that is, cooling is possible without using a compressor.
・In the 1st phase, a special refrigerant with a high boiling point is drawn outside, heat is transferred, and the system is cooled with a chiller and returned. 2phase has a low boiling point, so the vaporized special refrigerant is returned to liquid in a tank using a condenser, and the condenser uses water for chillerless cooling in a dry cooler. (1phase uses chiller/cooling tower)
