About This Product

■Dark Counts

By electronically cooling the photomultiplier tube with an air-cooled Peltier element, we succeeded in reducing DarkCounts, which was previously 250/sec, to ≦20/sec. (@Temperature 25℃) ・Uses air-cooled Peltier elements (3cm x 3cm x 4 pieces) (requires 24V, 4.5Amp power supply) ・Built-in high voltage power supply for photomultiplier tube (15V, 0.1mAmp power supply required for high voltage power supply) ・Photomultiplier tube output BNC50Ω negative pulse (separate amplifier required for 5V TTL conversion) Install the device so that the cooling fan for the Peltier element is at least 5 cm away from the wall.
