About This Product

■Birth of Kiriyama Roth

At first, we manufactured a small number of perforated funnels as filtration funnels. As all experimentalists know, depending on the diameter of the glass disk, dozens to hundreds of small holes are drilled into it, but the work efficiency is poor, and near completion, the glass will break in half due to the large number of holes, making it difficult to improve productivity. At that time, rainwater was collecting on the manhole cover, and upon closer inspection, I noticed that it was flowing into numerous grooves and small holes. We made a prototype similar to that, and initially it consisted of multiple holes and grooves, but we found that suction filtration could be used with just one hole. As a result, we completed the basic shape of the Kiriyama funnel, which has improved cleanability and productivity.

Kiriyama funnel is a large 7 liter specification made of polyethylene (PE). The filter paper diameter is φ240mm. Suitable for large filtration.
