In addition to updating the CPU and other hardware, we have implemented our own algorithms to achieve even faster responsiveness. In addition, high-precision positioning is achieved by automatically eliminating minute vibrations caused by resonance and vibrations caused by machine shaking.

■Easy and quick setting, reducing settling time by approximately 64% compared to conventional models.

The new and evolved fit gain greatly reduces adjustment time. Adaptive notch filter function and various gains can be automatically set and adjusted.

■Load fluctuation suppression control

Automatically sets the optimal gain table in response to fluctuations in inertia due to changes in workpiece load, etc. This ensures stable machine operation at all times.

■Friction torque compensation function

Reduces the effects of mechanical friction and improves responsiveness. It is possible to set unbalanced load compensation that compensates for offset torque that always acts at a constant rate, dynamic friction compensation that changes direction depending on the operating direction, and viscous friction compensation that changes depending on the command speed.

■Auto/manual vibration damping filter

Equipped with a damping filter that supports automatic settings using setup support software. The vibration damping filter removes the natural vibration frequency component from the command input and significantly reduces shaft vibration when stopped. The number of damping filters that can be used simultaneously has been increased from two to three (from one to two when 2-degree-of-freedom control mode is enabled), and the valid frequency range has been expanded from 0.5 Hz to 300.0 Hz.

■Auto/manual notch filter

Equipped with a notch filter that can be easily set automatically. Automatically detects vibrations and sets notch filters without the need for cumbersome vibration frequency measurements. The notch filter significantly reduces noise and vibration caused by mechanical resonance of the device and achieves fast response operation. The A6 family is equipped with 5 notch filters. Each has a set frequency of 50 Hz to 5,000 Hz, and depth adjustment is also possible.
