■Pulsed fiber laser marker (FAYb laser) What is the FAYb method?

The "FAYb laser" is an innovative method in which weak laser light oscillated from a master oscillator is amplified by passing through a fiber doped with the element Yb (ytterbium) to output a strong laser light.

■Long life and high reliability

The LD uses InGaAs (indium gallium arsenide), which boasts high reliability and durability. Furthermore, since the LD lights up only during printing, there is less heat load and an extremely long lifespan.

■High efficiency and energy saving

The laser is amplified within the ytterbium-doped fiber, achieving a light-to-light conversion efficiency of approximately 50%.

■ Head miniaturization

Unlike solid-state lasers such as YVO4, the amplification part can be housed within the oscillator, contributing to the miniaturization of equipment by making the head smaller.

■Protection structure IP64 Fanless small head

The toughness of the head is inherited from the LP-M series, which uses a fanless structure. Prevents water droplets and dust from entering the head, which can cause problems.

■Easy installation work. Head detachment mechanism

With conventional controllers and models in which the head cannot be separated, it was necessary to handle the head, which weighs over 10 kg, when installing it in equipment or during maintenance. The head detachment mechanism allows the controller and head to be installed separately, contributing to reduced man-hours during equipment installation and maintenance.

■Power supply noise countermeasures

At production sites, equipment that requires large currents and various electrical noises generated from the surrounding environment can affect the internal components of the equipment, which can cause problems. For this reason, many workplaces are installing UPS (uninterruptible power supply) or similar devices to equipment to prevent noise. In the LP-RF series, the laser marker controller is equipped with power supply noise countermeasure components such as a power transformer and varistor so that you can use the laser marker safely at production sites. This protects the internal parts of the laser marker from electrical noise and prevents problems from occurring.
