■Features

In 1999, we released the FAYb laser marker LP-F series, which was the first in the world to use a fiber oscillator as a laser marker.Since then, for about 20 years, we have sold a diverse lineup as a leading manufacturer of fiber laser markers. The fiber oscillation method is recognized as an ecological laser oscillation method that has a longer laser diode life and lower power consumption than the YAG and YVO4 methods, but on the other hand, it has had the problem of making it difficult to shorten the laser pulse. By adopting a 3-unit structure, the LP-RV achieves short pulses with a pulse width of 1 ns even though it is a fiber oscillation method. It contributes to an overwhelming improvement in expressive power/application compatibility.

■Pulsed fiber laser marker (FAYb laser) What is FAYb laser?

The "FAYb laser" is an innovative method in which weak laser light oscillated from a master oscillator is amplified by passing through a fiber doped with the element Yb (ytterbium) to output a strong laser light.

■Long life and high reliability

The LD uses InGaAs (indium gallium arsenide), which boasts high reliability and durability. Furthermore, since the LD lights up only during printing, there is less heat load and an extremely long lifespan.

■High efficiency and energy saving

The laser is amplified within the ytterbium-doped fiber, achieving a light-to-light conversion efficiency of approximately 50%.

■ Head miniaturization

Unlike solid-state lasers such as YVO4, the amplification part can be housed within the oscillator, contributing to the miniaturization of equipment by making the head smaller.

■Short pulse laser

Our unique technology enables short pulses with a pulse width of 1 ns even though it is a fiber method. My expressive power has improved tremendously.

■Less affected by heat

Short pulse lasers have less thermal effect on the workpiece, and can suppress burns, discoloration, and deformation due to heat. It can be used as a laser marker that is ideal for devices such as ICs and thin metals where heat effects should be suppressed, and for color printing on resin.
