■Sensors can be managed and configured from a remote location

Digital sensors scattered inside and outside the device [FX-501 (P), FX-502 (P), LS-501 (P) /403, DPS-401 (P) /402 (P)] and analog input units (SC-A01/A02, SC-T1JA) By using the SC-GU1-485, settings and confirmation of the amount of incident light can be performed all at once from a remote location, improving work efficiency during equipment operation management, equipment startup, and maintenance. (Note 1): Used when communicating the output signal to a PLC, etc. via SC-GU1-485. When wiring the output signal directly to a PLC, etc., please use the one-touch cable [child cable] (CN-72-C□, CN-71-C□).

■High versatility regardless of high-end model (PLC)

RS-485 communication provides high versatility to connect to PLCs from various companies. It can be installed into existing systems without changing the PLC.

■Communication speed 57.6kbps

With high-speed communication of up to 57.6kbps, you can instantly check the amount of light input and output status of the digital sensor.

■Up to 31 nodes can be connected in series

Up to 31 nodes can be connected in series. It also flexibly supports cases where you want to scatter sensors or add sensors.

■Saving wiring and construction

Up to 16 digital sensors (12 if including the FX-500/LS-500 series) can be connected horizontally. By using wiring-saving connectors for digital sensor wiring, power can be supplied all at once and output signals can be communicated to PLCs, etc., resulting in reduced wiring and construction costs. [If you want to wire the output signal directly to a PLC, etc., please use a one-touch cable (child cable). ]

■Applications

Through PLC and PC, it is possible to centrally manage and set the scattered digital sensors [FX-501 (P), FX-502 (P), FX-301 (P) /305 (P), LS-501 (P) /403, DPS-401 (P) /402 (P)] and analog input units (SC-A01/A02, SC-T1JA).
