■Improved operability and visibility of operation switches

The operation switches (setting switch and MODE switch) have been changed to a mechanism that is easier to press. In addition, the color of the operation switch has been changed from black to light gray to improve visibility in dimly lit locations.

■Reduced differences between fiber sensors. A different sense of stability

The FX-500 series, in combination with ultra-high quality fiber, reduces the difference in the amount of incident light between machines to 1/4 compared to conventional models. Approximate values ​​are shown even if the amplifier is replaced, allowing essential digital management.

■Quality that exceeds the common sense of standard fiber. Birth of super quality fiber

A quality control system that focuses on new construction methods and "manufacturing" at our own factory. And fiber, a new material. The basic performance of standard fibers has been greatly improved.

■High-speed response 25μs

The FX-500 series equipped with the sensing engine "SENTRION" contributes to improved productivity with high-speed response. Even in the detection of minute workpieces using small-diameter fibers that require high-speed response, it can be used at a detection distance greater than that of the conventional fastest mode despite the increased speed.

■Equipped with HYPR mode for long-distance sensing

Up to 5.7 times compared to conventional products. In particular, we have achieved long distances using small diameter fibers that require severe detection. FD-NFM2 achieves 5.7 times the previous model.

■Sharp detection with reduced hysteresis. The sharp taste is different

Thanks to the sensing engine "SENTRION" and the thorough improvement of the S/N ratio, you will not miss the slightest change in light intensity that could not be detected before.

■Flat display with wide viewing angle

The large, high-contrast, high-brightness 7-segment display does not require a protective cover and can be clearly seen from a wide range.

■Unify the amount of incident light to an easy-to-understand value, and set the display adjustment

By using the display adjustment settings, you can correct the display to any value. This is effective when detecting multiple devices under the same conditions.

■Stable detection in both long and short term. Stabilizes the amount of light emitted

The "4-element light emitting element" that we were the first in the industry to incorporate has now become the industry standard because it stabilizes the amount of light emitted. The FX-500 series also inherits the same element and the "APC circuit" that ensures short-term stability such as when power is turned on.
