About This Product

■Product overview-Low capacitance of 0.3pF or less, making it ideal for ESD countermeasures for ultra-high-speed signals.
・High ESD resistance (contact/air discharge 15kV compatible)
・A wide selection of 0603, 1005, 1608 single items and 2012-4 series

■What is an ESD suppressor?・ESD suppressor is a gap-type ESD (Electro Static Discharge) protection device. Suppressor means "something that suppresses, stops, or extinguishes."
・Protects electronic equipment from static electricity by utilizing the property that resistance value drops rapidly when high voltage is applied.
- Contributes to ensuring signal quality of high-speed differential signal circuits and high-frequency circuits during normal use when high voltage is not applied.

Features
■Transmission characteristics (USB3.0 mask test)The capacitance is less than 0.05pF (0603, 1005 size), so it does not affect transmission characteristics.

■Insertion loss (S21)Low capacitance of 0.05pF or less (0603, 1005 size) does not degrade signal quality of high-speed differential signals or insertion loss of high-frequency signals.

■Original technology that achieves industry-leading ESD suppression characteristics・Gap electrode: Achieved a narrower gap (~6μm) than other companies using proprietary processing technology, which allows for (1) low peak voltage and (2) operation with low voltage ESD.
・ESD absorbing material: Uniquely developed material (composite material of conductive particles and resin) allows 1) low peak voltage, 2) can operate with low voltage ESD, and 3) ensures high insulation after ESD discharge.
