■What is a backup power supply module equipped with an electric double layer capacitor?

An in-vehicle EDLC (Electrical Double Layer Capacitor) is used as an energy storage element in place of a battery, and is equipped with functions such as EDLC cell balance control, charge/discharge control, self-diagnosis function, and communication function. After confirming that the vehicle's ignition is turned on, EDLC charging will begin. In addition, the EDLC status and circuit status are self-diagnosed at the same time as the module is started. If it detects a drop in vehicle battery voltage, it will enter backup mode and begin supplying power to the system.
