About This Product

Detects stripping mistakes in wire sheathing, core wire breakage, and position/reversal of waterproof seals. A sample passing at high speed (2m/sec or less) is converted into a two-dimensional image and compared with a non-defective sample.

■ Stripping error detection

LIS-16 is installed immediately after the peeling process of the automatic crimping machine. By simply passing the wire through the strip laser, it detects stripping errors such as no peeling, broken core wire, broken core wire, etc.

■ Stripping mistake/waterproof seal detection

It can simultaneously detect stripping errors such as incorrect insertion, misaligned insertion, reverse insertion, and broken seals of waterproof seals in automotive harnesses, etc.

■Judgment

・Core wire width: Core wire breakage is detected by comparing the core wire width with the core wire width of a good product. ・Wire tip position: Automatically inspects the wire tip position during transportation. ・Strip length: Inspect changes in strip length. ・Waterproof rubber stopper position: Automatically inspects the position of the waterproof stopper during transportation. ・Reverse insertion of waterproof rubber plug: Captures the characteristics of waterproof rubber plugs to detect reverse insertion, incorrect rubber plug, etc.

■Parallel conveyance, rotating conveyance

Compatible with all wire conveyance methods of automatic crimping machines. Due to our unique algorithm, there is almost no difference in detection ability due to differences in transportation methods.

■Individual judgment is possible for outbound and return trips

When the wire moves back and forth, such as on the 1st side of a double-end automatic crimping machine, errors in stripping and crimping (terminal presence or absence) can be determined by going back and forth.

■U-shaped conveyance

Automatic crimping machines with U-shaped conveyance judge the A end and B end separately.

■Visualize images by connecting to a PC

In addition to the judgment output I/O, it is equipped with an RS232C port. Dedicated software allows real-time display of judgment images and storage of judgment history.

■Easy to install

Compatible with both rotating and parallel wire conveyance types. It can be installed in the transport path of automatic crimping machines regardless of model or manufacturer.

■Achieve smaller and thinner products

The smaller and thinner design (W150, H79, D16) greatly reduces installation space and provides high versatility.

■One bottle is enough for teaching

The first image captures (teaching) the image that will serve as the judgment standard. It will then move to inspection mode. It is a specification that pursues efficiency and convenience of work.

■Adoption of automatic trigger method

It is installed on the wire conveyance track of an automatic crimping machine and performs automatic judgment as the sample passes. No external trigger is required to time the passage.
