About This Product

■Measurement of pull-in/pull-out torque

Adopts the most proven Pronibrake (threading) method for stepper motor measurements. In combination with a computer, pull-in/pull-out torque is automatically measured with high precision.

■Measurement of extremely small stepper motors

We have prepared the ultra-high sensitivity measurement head SS-R2N. Small stepper motors of 0.1mN･m or less can be measured accurately and stably. Furthermore, we have also succeeded in measuring extremely small stepper motors of 0.002mN･m or less. You can also measure lead screw types.

■Main features of SMT-2

・Achieves stable measurement with low moment of inertia using threading method ・Pull-in torque is faithfully measured when starting from the holding state. ・A wide variety of measuring heads are available, with 8 models ranging from 0.2N to 50N, allowing for highly accurate measurements. - Characteristics of the motor can be easily determined using the automatically plotted characteristic graph. - Can be operated and data saved on a commercially available computer

■Basic configuration of SMT-2

・Stepper motor tester: SMT-2 ・Controller: SMC-2 ・Detection head: SS-*N ・PC: Microsoft Windows XP/7/10/11

■Load torque detection method

The tension of the brake string is detected by two heads, and the CPU performs differential calculations to determine the pull-in torque and pull-out torque.
