About This Product

■Hysteresis brake type load tester with a maximum of 120,000 rotations and a maximum of 100mN･m

In recent years, motors have become smaller and faster. By increasing the speed of the motor, it is possible to increase the output without increasing the size, or it is possible to downsize while maintaining the output. The miniaturization and speeding up of motors is expected to lead to future developments in a variety of fields, including from the perspective of energy conservation. Motor analyzer EMA-100 and load tester EMM-100M are load testers compatible with ultra-high speed motors. The newly developed small-diameter, low-inertia brake (patent pending) achieves a maximum rotation speed of 120,000 r/min and a maximum torque of 100 mN･m using a hysteresis brake system that makes torque control easy.

■Main features

・Maximum rotation speed 120,000r/min, maximum torque 100mN･m - Newly developed hysteresis brake provides stable load control from motor standstill to ultra-high speeds ・Low inertia brake rotor for high-speed rotation (1.5×10^-6kg･m2) ・Like our DMC series, no complicated PID control parameter settings are required. ・High-precision motor holder and newly designed coupling realize safe and easy measurement. ・Connect to the wattmeter WT1800E and display measurement results of 22 items such as torque, rotation speed, voltage, current, power, efficiency, power factor, etc. in real time. ・Various torque control settings such as point measurement, time sweep measurement, load simulation, etc. ・Similar to normal hysteresis brakes, actual measurement calibration using a calibration bar and weights

■Safe and easy mechanical setting

A high-precision motor holding unit and a newly designed coupling (patent pending) provide alignment and shaft connection that can withstand high-speed rotation, making safe and easy measurements possible. The dedicated motor holding unit allows the motor position to be adjusted in micron steps in the XYZ directions while maintaining parallelism to the load tester shaft. Align the shaft using the centering jig (included with the coupling), and connect the load tester shaft and motor shaft with an easy-to-operate dedicated coupling.
