About This Product

LS-500 is a new LED strobe product that is ideal for surface quality inspection in steel, paper, and printing factories. The maximum light emission frequency is 60,000 r/min, and the high brightness white LED with a large amount of light uniformly illuminates a wide area. The feature of this product is that the irradiation area can be easily expanded by connecting 50cm wide LS-500 units horizontally or vertically to match the customer's line width.

12 LS-500 units can be connected to one controller CB-LS. Since it is an LED, there is no need to replace the lamp, reducing labor and running costs. The light emission frequency and flash duration can be set arbitrarily using the controller CB-LS, making it easy to adjust the visibility of the object to be inspected (=brightness and image clarity).

■Main features of LS-500/CB-LS・Easy to expand irradiation range
・Uses ultra-high brightness white LED
・Reduced lamp replacement costs
・Fanless semi-sealed structure that prevents foreign objects from entering
・Up to 12 light emitting units can be connected to one controller
- Set flash duration arbitrarily
・Voltage signals, current signals, and contact signals can be used as external light emission triggers.
・It is possible to emit light at arbitrary time intervals in synchronization with the line speed (please prepare an analog current signal proportional to the line speed (set 4 mA or less to 0 m/min, 20 mA to 500 m/min). The light emitting frequency is calculated from the line speed based on the input signal and the emitting interval set on the controller CB-LS, and the light is emitted.)

■Easy to expand irradiation rangeBy arranging multiple LS-500s side by side horizontally and vertically, you can easily expand the irradiation range.

■Usage example・Visual inspection of plate threading on steel manufacturing line
・Checking printed matter for color, color misalignment, and dirt, and inspecting timing marks and register marks for misalignment.
