About This Product

Mighty Strobe L-1 is an LED strobe made by Sugawara, which has over 60 years of experience in stroboscope manufacturing. While maximizing the benefits of LEDs, we have achieved the necessary short flash duration and light intensity. The maximum light emission frequency is 360,000FPM, which uniformly illuminates a wide area with a large amount of light. There is no need to replace lamps, reducing labor and costs. Small and lightweight (980g, including battery) and low power consumption, it can be used continuously for 9 hours at 1/2 light intensity and 4.5 hours at maximum light intensity. It is suitable for use in quiet environments as it does not emit any sound.

■Uniform and bright light distribution characteristics

The condensing lens illuminates a 40cm area at a distance of 1m with extremely uniform brightness. By incorporating two-color LEDs, objects can be observed in natural colors.

■LED strobe and xenon tube strobe

Xenon tube strobes are characterized by instantaneous large amounts of light. For example, at 6,000 FPM, our xenon tube strobe X-1 has an extremely short light emission time of approximately 5 µsec (1/200,000 second), allowing you to obtain clear still images even when moving at ultra-high speeds or observing minute objects. On the other hand, LED strobes obtain a large amount of light by adjusting the flash duration. The LED strobe L-1 can obtain the same amount of light as the X-1 with a light emission time of 50 µsec (1/20,000 second), so it can obtain a sufficiently clear still image for normal rotation speed measurement and status observation. Please select an LED strobe or a xenon tube strobe according to your application.

■Equipped with all the functions necessary for a stroboscope

It covers an ultra-wide light emission frequency range of 30 to 360,000 FPM for internal oscillation light emission (0 to 36,000 FPM for external signal light emission), and is also equipped with a terminal to output the light emission signal to the outside. It can also be used as a tachometer (30-120,000RPM) by connecting a proximity sensor or photoelectric sensor. The angular delay and time delay light emission functions strongly support research applications, and the battery-powered feature allows you to use it anywhere.

■Long-time operation with power-saving LED and built-in lithium-ion battery

After 2 hours of charging with the included AC adapter, it can be used continuously for 9 hours at 1/2 light intensity and 4.5 hours at maximum light intensity. You can use it even while charging, so you don't have to worry about creating gaps in your work.
