About This Product

Nanocolloidal metal oxides are used in a variety of fields to add value to materials and products. The nanocolloidal metal oxides we handle are provided by Nyacol Nano Technologies, Inc. ■Summary

- Increases the density and hardness of the concrete surface, improving wear resistance. ・As it is an aqueous dispersion, it is easy to handle and can be diluted and sprayed with a low-pressure spray. (Can be applied with a general low-pressure spray/Washing the equipment with water is sufficient). ・Standard construction area is approximately 10m2 per liter of stock solution.

Indoor and outdoor concrete that requires wear resistance/water resistance

■Features

- Colloidal silica with an average particle size of 6 nm penetrates deeply into the voids of concrete and forms a dense layer. ・Does not peel off. ・Suppresses dust. ・Improve waterproofness. ・It will not change color even after installation. ・Safe for the human body and the environment (conforms to VOC regulations/LEED standards) How to use

■Concrete immediately after construction

NYACOL D-6 can be used on freshly constructed concrete. Dilute D-6 6 times with water and use a low-pressure spray to thoroughly wet the concrete surface, then allow it to dry.

■Existing concrete

The concrete surface is polished to a uniform surface and all impurities such as hardeners, sealers, oils, and dust are removed. Dilute D-6 with 4 parts water and, using a low-pressure sprayer, spray enough to keep the concrete surface wet for at least 20 minutes and allow to dry for 1 to 2 hours.

■Maintenance

・Please clean regularly using a neutral cleaner and water. ・Do not use acidic cleaners. Acidic cleaners will cause the surface to become cloudy. - Do not use cleaners containing hydroxides or sulfates.
