■Product detailsWith "strength" and "flexibility," we expand ideas and possibilities for new product development. Developed using Sekisui's original technology, the surprising polyethylene sheet "Forte" is a shape-retaining material that has metal-substituting properties.

■FeaturesIt is a new material that has the potential to be used in a variety of applications, including as a reinforced surface material that requires high strength and high elasticity, and as a molded product material for high-rigidity applications, as well as the excellent impact resistance, processability, and recyclability of "Forte" laminated sheets.

■Shape retention functionThe shape-retaining property that allows it to freely change its shape like a wire is made using Sekisui's proprietary uniaxial molecular alignment technology, which uses polyolefin as the main material and is controlled with high precision.

■No bending backThe shape can be changed freely and easily, and after deformation, it continues to maintain its shape, with almost no bending back.

■Can be used repeatedlyStretched tape "Forte" has properties similar to those of telekinetic metal, making it ideal as an alternative material to wire and aluminum.

■High rigidity functionCompared to general-purpose plastic materials, it has unparalleled high rigidity and high elasticity. It also has excellent thermal stability due to its low coefficient of linear expansion, and these properties can be used to create highly functional structures such as ``laminated panels.''

■Laminated panels are sandwich panels with excellent rigidity and impact resistance.By laminating Forte reinforcing sheets on both sides of various core materials, it is possible to create strong panels that meet various performance requirements.

■Does not break or bend- Reinforcement of the core material dramatically increases bending, torsion, and elastic strength.
- Strength can be easily adjusted by adjusting the thickness of the Forte sheet.

■Does not warp or twistForte's characteristic of negative linear expansion creates laminated panels with excellent dimensional stability.

■LightSince the raw material is polyethylene, it is lighter than reinforced materials such as GF reinforced prepreg and aluminum.

■Environmentally friendlyDoes not include extra substances such as GF and CF. By matching with the resin core, it is possible to create an all-resin panel, making it easy to recycle.
