Improved safety during crane work

■Summary・New features added in April 2024
・This system uses GNSS installed at the tip of the boom to acquire position information and displays the position on the drawing and 3D coordinates on the on-board monitor.
・A workable or prohibited area is created using three-dimensional data such as height, width, and depth, and a patrol light alerts you of the danger if you enter or leave the set dangerous area.
・A total station can be used instead at sites where satellites are not available. (GNSS is recommended due to weather effects and laser collimation)

■In April 2024, we newly acquired NETIS. [NETIS number: KT-230340-A]*NETIS: KT-140100-VE will be discontinued on March 31, 2025.

■Systematize visual monitoring to help improve site safety.Conventionally, crane contact management was done through visual monitoring, but 3D Barrier systemizes monitoring using crane position information and a unique system, helping to improve site safety.

■A GNSS antenna is installed at the tip of the crane using a special jig, and 3D measurement is performed using position information.A GNSS antenna is installed at the tip, base, or suspended load of the crane to determine the location in real time. There are two types of GNSS antennas: wireless and wired, and they can be used depending on the type of crane. We will make recommendations according to the situation on site. Suitable for locations where the sky is open and it is easy to receive satellite information. Stable measurements are possible regardless of the weather.

■A reflective prism is installed at the tip of the crane, and a total station performs 3D measurements.The total station automatically tracks the reflective prism and measures its position in three dimensions. Suitable for areas where satellite information is difficult to receive, such as in areas where there are many structures nearby or when working under bridges.

■Freely set the area to prevent the tip of the crane from entering dangerous areas.You can freely create areas using 3D coordinates. The area can be set in 3 levels.
