■Individual design possible
Shihen Tech's Top Runner transformers can be designed with different ratios of Wi (no load loss) and Wc (load loss at 100%). In other words, it is possible to design a transformer that achieves the highest efficiency at the assumed equivalent load factor of the transformer used by the customer.
■Transformer loss
・No-load loss (Wi): Loss that constantly occurs from the core of the transformer when voltage is applied to the transformer, regardless of the load size.
・Load loss (Wc): Loss generated mainly from the resistance of the coil when current flows through the transformer.
■Wi/Wc ratio
・Wi/WcX100=5, 10%: Government offices/hospitals
・Wi/WcX100=15, 20, 25, 30%: General companies and factories
・Wi/WcX100=35, 40, 45, 50%: Companies and factories operating at full capacity
