About This Product

■Mirror finish ink for polyester and acrylicPrinted on the back of transparent material with excellent solvent resistance. High brightness color mirror.

■Applicable materialsPolyester film, acrylic cast board. Since solvent resistance varies depending on the material, brightness and adhesion may be affected. Please conduct sufficient testing before using.

■ApplicationsBy printing on the back side of a transparent material, you can create an alternative expression to vapor deposition, hot stamping, etc.

■Printing plate- SX#250~300 mesh is suitable for the screen. We recommend 270-300 mesh for fine line patterns and 250-270 mesh for solid/rough patterns.
- Select an emulsion with excellent solvent resistance and printing durability, and apply a thin film.

■Dilution- It has been adjusted so that it can be printed as is, so please mix it well before opening the package before using it. If dilution is necessary to adjust the viscosity after use, please use the dedicated MRA01 solvent standard or MRA02 solvent slow drying.
・Good results may be obtained with a 5% dilution for flatbed printers and a 10% dilution for cylinder press printers. Please adjust the dilution amount depending on the print finish.

■Printing・Since the ink cuts well, we recommend using a slightly stronger setting when applying ink with a doctor or pushing out ink with a squeegee.
・The ink alone will adhere to the material, but to prevent scratches and pinholes, please overprint with white or black.
・U-PET ink is recommended for pressure printing, although the brightness will decrease slightly.

■DryingIt will be dry to the touch in about 15 to 20 minutes at room temperature, but high brightness can be obtained by forcing drying at an early stage.

■Adhesion- If even slight delamination is a problem in the sellotape test, add 10 to 20% of MRA930 colorless. Although there is a slight decrease in brightness, adhesion and printing suitability will improve.
- When printing on hard-coated acrylic cast boards, add 2-5% of 98 crosslinking agent.
- Pot life will occur after addition, so please use up within 4 hours.
